During completion of screen 1 you will notice that details such as firm name, address and city are required. This information will be displayed in the CA Firm Directory. At the bottom of the screen you are also asked to provide your location from a drop down list. You are required to complete this additional field for system matching purposes.
On the second screen enter the details of your firm by selecting from the lists provided. Hold the <CTRL> key down to select multiple fields in one box or to deselect a field. Click Submit to complete your registration.
NOTICE: Your firm list will not be searchable in the directory until it is manually approved by CICA staff. Please allow up to two business days for your listing to be approved.
To update your listing, add multiple locations, or remove your firm from the directory, click on Manage Firm Listings.
Manage Firm Location(s)
To add multiple locations on behalf of your firm, click the “Add Location” button at the bottom of the Manage Firm Location(s) page. You will need the CICA Firm number for each location you wish to add. If you don’t know your CICA firm numbers, phone 1-800-268-3793(bilingual technical support) or send an e-mail to email@example.com. Each additional location you add will show up as a separate location in the search results but the firm description will be the same for each one.
To update a location, make the changes in the fields that you wish to change and click Update. (Note: If you have multiple locations registered, choose the location you wish to update and click the View button)
Access to this account can be given to other contacts by going to the Account Access page under Manage Firm Listings. Click Add, enter their information in the fields, and then click Save. With Account Administrator access, you can add, remove, or update other contacts. For information on how to do this, refer to the instructions in the Account Access section.
Manage Firm Description
Click on Manage Firm Description to update your firm description in the directory. Users wanting to find a CA firm through the CA Firm Directory can search by firm name, size, industries served and services offered. On the Manage Firm Description screen, select the services offered by your firm, as well as the name, size and industries served. Your firm’s information will be displayed if it matches the user’s search criteria. Click Save to save your changes.
To remove your firm from the directory, deselect the tick box next to “Please include this information in the CA Firm Directory” and click Save.
